Hi Dj and Df, my original idea with the stone on the grill was merely to get higher oven temperatures, simulating a wood or gas fired pizza oven. Looking at the ovens themselves, they have specifically designed domed ceilings to cook the top of the pizza just as fast as the bottom. Now if I could re-create that domed roof, that would be great, any ideas???

P.S. I've tried flat objects like a second pizza stone with little success. |
