I'm told I'm odd because I'm not a fan of red sauces. A native of New England, I was pretty surprised at the lack of good pizza in the southeast (no hate mail please). And if you ask for a white pizza, you get all this ricotta and mozzarella................... I like white pizza like they serve at Zuppardi's (West Haven, CT). Olive oil and garlic. Toppings on top of that. Mozzarella on top of that. HEAVEN.

I accidentally read this as Pizza sauce, not Pasta sauce. However, aglio y olio is still my favorite sauce. And I'm still searching for seriously good italian food here in South Carolina!!

you are absolutely right about the lack of good pizza here in the southeast.Thats one thing I miss the most.I dont think many people in Alabama know what a good pizza is.
