Realtor explains:
DOUGH DID NOT BROWN.....
TRIED USING PIZZA STONE AND ALUMINUM PIZZA PAN...
My response:
OK.
Please answer these questions:
1) What temperature was your oven.
(Needs to be at least 500+ F.) (The HOTTER the better) HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!
2) How long did you pre-heat your oven for with your pizza stone?
Put the stone in the oven. Turn on oven: Pre-heat stone ad oven for at least one hour!
(Stone needs to be pre-heated AT LEAST ONE (1) hour.) (AT LEAST)
Do not try to cut corners, here!!!
3) How much stuff did you put on your pizza?
Remember for pizza: less in more.
Please answer these questions, honestly.
I think I can help.
pizza all over your kitchen,
albert

OK If you want your crust to brown I gave you my best advice.
If you are going to use my dough recipe, please re-read my email.
I advise you to write to the maker of the pizza stone.
Perhaps they know something I do not know.
Maybe they have a special pizza recipe. Please let me know what they say.
I wish the absolute best in all of your pizza adventures.
pizza on earth,

MR. REALTOR:
Good morning to you. You have received sound advice. My strong opinion as to why you yeasted lean bread dough did not carmelize (Brown) sufficently is the function of the flour. I believe your flour miller omitted the "MALT" that most flour has mixed in by the miller....try this whereasa yeasted lean bread recipe adding sugar is not a requirement In your case it will help. After mixing about 3, minutes I would add aTBLS of sugar along with the salt & continue mixing for 4, minutes.
Then come bace & let us know how well you have fared.
Good luck & enjoy the rest of the day my friend.
