I wish I could make some for myself.

I would love to know the recipe for American style pizza dough,

As far as American Pizza:

There are as many different styles of American Pizza as there are insects on the planet.

OK, I'm exaggerating, but believe me there are many different styles.

As a matter of fact my friend Peter Reinhart wrote a book about his search for Pizza Perfection in America.

He called his quest: American Pie: My Search for the Perfect Pizza.

The best part of the book is that he not only sampled the pizzas, but he tells you how to make each one. This book is chock full of recipes.

If there is one definitive book about American Pizza, this is the one.
