Pizza philosopher Espo shares the following:


The notion that there is no accounting for taste relative to Pepe's style of pizza and Pizza Hut pizza.

People like what they like and it isn't possible to say categorically that one pizza or one persons taste is better than someone else's.

It is similar to any ethnic food that is introduced to some other culture. Real Chinese cuisine isn't much like it's American counterpart. The same is true of Indian cuisine or Mexican cuisine.

Again there is no accounting for taste but the cultural leveling of the culinary palette is a conundrum.

It is like my Art and Beer sensibility i.e. when we go to see an art exhibit we say "You do not have to like it but you have to look at it." And then you do what you do, have a beer and talk about it.
