We are certainly glad you are here.

The Spot is really just an extension of Pepe's. It is owned and run by the family. They have a coal fired oven there as well.

Many of the insiders say: go to the spot if the line at Pepe's is to long.

We ate at Pepe's, Sally's and Modern this past summer. Each place had memorable pizzas.

There is a running list of some of the finest pizza places on the planet at pizzatherapy.com.

Here is the link:

http://pizzatherapy.com/bestpizz.htm

You will find something you like in the listings.

pizza on earth,

albert

having traveled around the world, new haven is clearly the worst. Hope I don't get censored for that though. We are in the minority.

Well I have travelled the US and most of Europe. For the worst, try a place in Odense, Denmark. It was pretty blah.

New Haven - well Modern is my favorite of the big ones, but Amato's is also good.
