Hi Valerie.
I have frozen dough many times in the form of dough balls.
I have not flattened out the dough, however, so I do not know how that would turn out.
The dough tastes as good as fresh, but will not rise as much.
Here is what I do: I make my dough and let it rise for about 45 minutes or more.
I form the dough into dough balls. I put the dough in a plastic bag and I drizzle a little olive iol over the dough before I seal and freeze.
The dough will need to thaw to almost room temperature before I use it. This may take an hour and a half or more.
I hope that helps.
Also, please let us know how your pizza part turns out.
