Hi, I live in Astana, Kazakhstan. There really isn't any good pizza here.
Thank goodness for the internet and You Tube. I have tried 3 different
recipes. The dough for all of them was crumbly and tough and really hard to kneed.
They tasted ok, but was really hard to work with. My children
want pizza tonight. So, I made the dough last night. It didn't rise and it
is tough. Can I do anything with it?
So, I got up early this morning before work and found your video. I made
your dough and it was much Much easier to work with!
My dough actually
looked like yours. Hopefully tonight I will be able to say " I have found
the perfect Pizza Dough recipe!" I will let you know.
My question is,
should I just through out the other dough I made, or can I salvage it? I
would hate to waste it...although flour is one thing that is cheep here!
Anxiously awaiting your reply!
thanks,

Hi Lucy...
If your dough did not rise you may have a problem.
The problem could be with the yeast you used and not the dough.
If the dough was hard to knead, you may want to try adding a bit (a tablespoon or so) of water.
I wouldn't through the dough out...
You can try to add a little olive oil (say 1/4 cup) and work that in the dough.
Try making bread out of the dough.... Don't through it out yet.
See if the taste is better after adding a bit of olive oil.
And please let me know how my dough recipe turned out...
If you want more tips and tricks, I do have a Pizza Therapy Pizza Book (hint hint...)
here is the link:

You don't need my e-book to make great pizza though..
Let me know how the dough recipe turned out.
