Thanks, Albert, glad to hear you had a terrific celebration, too.

Yes, we laughed until it hurt, literally...

We drove up to Westchester County (in NY) to my brother and his wife's place (in Hartsdale), only 40 minutes north from NYC.

In addition to the turkey & stuffing, we had fried Italian green peppers, sauteed mushrooms oreganata (w/red pepper flakes), aged Italian Provolone (of course, from Italy), hot Italian Soprasata, Prosciutto de Parma, Gorgonzola cheese, Brocolli Rape (rabe), Yams, artichoke hearts, black oil olives, Pesto d'Italiano (sorry Albert, we didn't make your recipe as they sell an exquisite variation in a tiny bottle for ten bucks at our gourmet Fairway Supermarket), seeded Italian bread, roasted chestnuts, sweet & ripe Cantaloup melon, Sweet seedless grapes, Italian sesame seeded Regina cookies from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, Fennel (Anis) root (Funuc), 3 bottles of good wine, special holiday music, all concluded by a viewing of the Thanksgiving classic, "Planes, Trains, & Automobiles."

When all was done, I pulled TWO (2) pizza pies out of my car (from the most famous Pizzeria in the world, "Patsy's Pizza" on 117th St. and 1st Avenue, NYC.) surprising everyone with a very special and highly unexpected holiday finale!

Here are some pics:

And more:

Truly, an ABONDANZA!
