At pizzatherapy.com, I have maintained a list of The Best Pizza in the World.
The list has grown and at times seems to take on a life of it's own.
Due to the volume, I have had to break up the list in the following categories:

Eastern U.S. (Alabama-New Jersey) at this link:
http://www.pizzatherapy.com/east.htm

Eastern U.S. (New York-West Virginia) located here:
http://www.pizzatherapy.com/east.htm

Central U.S. at this url:
http://www.pizzatherapy.com/central.htm

Western U.S. here:
http://www.pizzatherapy.com/west.htm

and International Pizza at this link:
http://www.pizzatherapy.com/international.htm

I know there are many, many other great pizzerias out there.

As Peter Reinhart says in The Lends of Pizza, Volume 1,: "There are only two types of pizza: Good Pizza and Great Pizza."

Let's add to the list!
thanks.

Great sites, keep up the great work.
I live near the town of Bennington, Vt. And would like to add this pizzeria to your list.
The Bennington Pizza House, it's been in business about thirty years and serves one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. Thin crust baked to perfection with a great sauce, they also sell other foods and I have never had a bad meal as long as they've been open.

I nominated House of Pizza in Hammond, Indiana. But really, the BEST pizza is the one you have in front of you, that you probably made yourself. That's not to put down the others, the commercially made ones, delivered to your door, but you just can't get any better than a pizza that you have made yourself, and put yourself into (as Albert calls it, "spiritual pizza").

In that respect, everyone here makes the BEST pizza.

Eat your heart out, Papa John, Hungry Howie, Pizza Hut, Domino's....

Definitely "Galena's Cucina".....with imported water from New Haven.....Yum! The house speciality is "Crawfish and Andouille Sausage" Pizza....second to the "Sauteed Onions with Fresh Rosemary and Basil", and the best summer pizza by far is the "bianca with fresh roma tomatoes, fresh buffalo mozzerella and fresh basil with a hint of extra virgin olive oil". Yummmm!

I wouldn't say this is the best pizza in the world. My vote would be Sally's in New Haven, CT.

BUT, for Austin, Texas I would have to say that Brick Oven on 35th is the best pizza in the city. I haven't found anything better. The crust is cooked well done and the pepperoni is fantastic.

When it comes to top notch Pizzerias, look no further than Beppo Uno located outside Dayton, Oh.

Not only is this Italian restaurant known for it's quality pizza, but they also have a wide selection of gourment pasta dishes to choose from as well. Add to this the fact they have one of the largest selections of wine in the Miami Valley, and this place is perfect.
