I was lucky enough to be in Naples recently and tried margheritas in some of the more famous pizzerias. I was surprised to find that in my opinion the best was Antica Pizzeria Brandi the pizzeria credited with the invention of the margherita.
My second favourate was in Sicily which was the Atilla in Terrazzo Angelo in Taormina which we tried having seen the recipe on pizzatherapy.com (thanks Jon.F we ended up going back the pies were so good) this pizza now appears as the contadina on the menu.

I plan on going to Naples for my 25th anniversary, well Italy, and a trip to Naples for the pizza.
