has anyone tried deer burger in place of beef? this idea poped into my head as i was reading the posts on here.. just a thought.. ill have to try it. thanks for looking.

Answer: It depends on if you are the deer!

I've never considered venison for a pizza topping. I imagine it would be good, if a person enjoys the flavor.

That's one thing about pizza..... if you like it, it must be good!

Deer burgers are very, very good, but they are a dry meat. Deer steaks are even better!

I'll have to remember this option... sounds great as ground venison by itself ( or mixed with a little ground buffalo; both are very lean) might just be a winner for me.

LOL works for me I am a deer processor and an avid hunter (I shot 7 deer this past season)

I have a deer summer sausage that is good on pizza as well.
