A personal pizza legend passed away recently. Tony Savino of West Haven, Connecticut. I first had a Tony Savino pie in Hamden, Connecticut around 1964. He was located in Centerville. Tony made a great pie. .70 cents for a small with a Foxon Park soda. RIP Tony, some of my old pizza crew remember your great pies. Thanks.
